This development downtown will help LHYL serve more children  and continue to drive the strong community and social foundations it has built over the last 68 years.  Not only will this be a game changer for our players it will also help increase business exposure and opportunities for the City of Liberty Hill and its businesses.

New Look. Same Heart.

LIBERTY HILL YOUTH LEAGUE UNVEILS NEW LOGO TO REFLECT A GROWING, UNITED COMMUNITY

LIBERTY HILL, TEXAS, July 21, 2025: The Liberty Hill Youth League (LHYL) has unveiled a new logo that reflects the town’s continued growth and the league’s commitment to serving all Liberty Hill families.

As Liberty Hill expands with new neighborhoods, new schools, and more young athletes the league recognized the need for an updated identity. The previous logo featured colors tied to a single high school, but the new design embraces a bold, unified look that stands apart from any one school, welcoming athletes from across the community.

“This update marks more than just a design change, but it signals a new chapter for the Liberty Hill Youth League,” said Don Badgerow, LHYL Board President. “Our goal is to ensure every child and family feels represented and included.”

Founded in 1953, LHYL has spent more than 70 years helping young athletes grow in confidence, skill, and teamwork through baseball and softball. The league remains a non-profit, 100% volunteer-run organization, deeply rooted in community spirit and service.

“We wanted a logo our kids could wear proudly, no matter which school they attend,” said Lance Cox, Director of Field Maintenance. “This new look honors our history while reflecting who we are today: one league for all of Liberty Hill.”

Families Share Their Support

Local families have embraced the change as a symbol of community:

  • “My kids play now on the same fields I played on as a kid. The new look is modern, but the heart of the league hasn’t changed.” – Gray Lankford, LHYL parent and coach

  • “With the town growing and new schools opening, this logo reminds us that LHYL is one family, no matter where yours might live. This league is about community, not just competition.” –  Rebekah Severi, LHYL parent and sponsor
