Liberty Hill Youth League

The Liberty Hill Youth League was established in 1953 and continues to serve the youth of this community today! LHYL is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization based in Liberty Hill, Texas and we are committed to providing a positive and competitive environment to grow baseball and softball players in the Liberty Hill area.

LHYL is in dire need of  help to build new fields and expand existing facilities at our Downtown field complex to make a generational change for our children and the community of Liberty Hill.

This development downtown will help LHYL serve more children  and continue to drive the strong community and social foundations it has built over the last 68 years.  Not only will this be a game changer for our players it will also help increase business exposure and opportunities for the City of Liberty Hill and its businesses.

Community Growth

The population of Liberty Hill is exploding and based on the LHISD growth forecast. The district is projected to enroll over 13,000 students by 2027 and over 18,600 students by 2032.  Player registration increased nearly 70% between Spring 2020 and Spring 2023!

LHYL funds materially all of its own operations, and will greatly rely on this fundraising campaign for capital improvements.  Every penny raised through registration, sponsors, and donations goes directly back into operating the league, including field maintenance.

IMPROVEMENTS for 2022 AND 2023

LHYL is extremely grateful to generous donors and hard-working volunteers, in addition to the continued support from LHISD to allow construction of new facilities on school property.  LHYL completed fencing on three new fields at the Downtown field complex, and also built six new batting cages Downtown by improving an old set of tennis courts.

New Fields at Liberty Hill Middle School

Provide fencing, infield dirt, outfield irrigation, field lights, covered bleachers, and a scoreboard.  The two fields would be sized for softball and 10U/12U baseball divisions.

Field Lights Downtown

Fencing for Fields 3 and 4 was coordinated by LHYL in November 2021.  Future capital campaign funds will provide field lights for these two fields to allow 6U and 8U divisions to have night games and practices when needed.

Concession Stand Upgrades

Expand and upgrade Downtown concessions stand and restrooms to accommodate growth of the facility.  Updates to similar facilities at LHMS will depend on overall facility improvements currently being completed by LHISD at the Middle School.

Questions related to the capital campaign should be directed to Board President Dustin Dean.

Sponsor Levels

As of July 2023, LHYL had raised approximately half of its initial Capital Campaign goal of $400,000 to make these improvements a reality. This is through a combination of generous outside donors and LHYL families. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated! In addition, sponsorship packages have been set up as detailed on the matrix.
